We can file this one under 'major companies try viral marketing, and fail'. First of all I'm going to give credit to Leo Burnett Worldwide for coming up with a daring new campaign for Tampax (the tampons people). Personally I don't think women or guys are really going to spend 12 minutes watching a YouTube video about a guy with a vagina though. Let's take a closer look at their approach.

An intriguing and sad documentary about the history of the Crips and Bloods in South Central, Los Angeles. It takes us back to even before World War II showing the viewer that it's not so much a problem of gang violence as it's vicious circles caused by lack of work, education and 25% of black kids living in the area ending up behind bars. Or dead.
